Uterine Fibroids and Endometriosis Study

Do you suffer from Uterine Fibroids?

You may be interested in a research study for women diagnosed with uterine fibroids or endometriosis.

Volunteers will receive all study-related care at no cost, including the study drug for up to 1 year, and if you qualify you will receive compensation of $100 per on-site study visit, if you take part in the full duration of the study the compensation for your time and efforts is up to $4,000.

The study is evaluating how safe and how well a study drug acts to prevent pregnancy in adult women with uterine fibroids or endometriosis.

The study will involve visits to a study center in your area.

This study drug has been approved by the FDA to manage heavy menstrual bleeding associated with uterine fibroids and moderate to severe pain associated with endometriosis; however, the drug is investigational for use as birth control in women who are 18 to 50 years of age and have uterine fibroids or endometriosis.

In a clinical trial, this drug has also been shown to potentially prevent women from ovulating (releasing an egg) when taking one pill daily (and did not miss a dose), which is the same way many birth-control pills work.

This clinical study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of this drug in preventing pregnancy in women with endometriosis or uterine fibroids.

There is no cost for you to take part in the study. If you qualify, all study related care and study drug will be provided at no cost to you. In addition, you may be compensated for your time and effort for approximately $100 per on-site study visit, and if you take part in the full duration of the study you may receive up to $4,000.

This study may take approximately 2 years to complete, during which you will be required to visit the clinic in your location 11 times and participate in up to 4 phone calls. The study center in your location will give you all the details you need to know about the Fibroids and Endometriosis clinical trial, including compensation for out-of-pocket costs associated with your travel to and from clinic. The study team will also work with you to ensure appointment times work for your schedule.
